For the few guys on here that have known me since High School, you all know my background from the docks of 18th street in Barnegat Light to the docks in Fort Pierce Florida working the boats.. My old partner down there for over 11 years is now chartering out of Barnegat Light...I can assure you he is the MAN when it comes to bottom fishing especially down that way..He has taken more monster blackfish on the snags off of LBI than just about anyone. I came North all those years ago and he stuck with it. That would be pretty cool Paul. Greg and I worked the decks together on the Carolyn Ann III when we were in school....all those mornings I showed up for school on Monday mornings, I had usually just driven up from LBI to make it to school, when I actually did show up anyway, lol. My personal best on the blackfish was just over 13 lbs I speared while diving on one of the hangs just south of the inlet in 35 feet of water. |

I could give him a call...we havent talked in person in quite a while now...he's licensed for 6 im sure, but the boat I would think would comfortably fish atleast four maybe six. Blackfish limits suck right now, would likely be better off waiting til November when they increase the bag limit though...HE does stripers too. |

would have to give up a day of the rut there Port! Maybe I'll register mine yet this year...I have had the itch to go eeling for bass in the evenings these past couple Octobers..just havent done it in a few years now. |
