How exactly do you release a live, pissed off, Bobcat? |

A strong catch pole, quick sure hands and divine help from above. A git-r done attitude and low IQ dont hurt either If you've never seen one real close up, their claws and fangs are unbelievable. Shock and awe..believe me. It was tense. After the release....Yes I was dumb enough to stand there and take another pic...that body language he is giving there is nothing good. One wrong move and he was coming. He didnt leave that spot until I backed out first. |

that's the idea I think Hoyt. Stay tuned come December 18. Caught him on Wednesday, had a cat (I think based on the hair) power out on Thursday, a blank on FRiday and a coyote pull out or roll over today. Ive stayed out of the cat type areas so far too. There seems to be a few around in this area. Catching them in the canine areas. Looking forward to dropping into the drainages come December. |

Our NJ snares arent Legal over there. YOu can only use footholds over there until after December 26. You can use a version of our snares over there then, but only with no entanglement which pretty much defeats the purpose of snare location... |
