had a couple misses but i reset them and i hope this snow storm gets them moving tonight im excited to go check them tomarrow! this is the first yr im intentionally trying to snare coons i set a line on a ridge i got two on this line and a im havin a blast with it.

Nice. Get the yote in a snare too? I caught my 3rd cat today out there and released him safely, but I pulled all the pa canine traps with the weather. Caught a coon in the 1 cage I had set local. And set a couple beaver sets this pm over there that i'll hope to check tuesday am. But it's time to come home for awhile and get back to a fox line.

yeahh all right out back.. id hate messing with those cats u got balls haha. im excited for this snow so i can find some serious fox runs to put my snares out ive been getting alot of misses i dont no what the fuck is pulling my snares tight and getting away.. the foxes are infested out back by me cuz of so many rabbits and the free range chickens on the farm are there alot fox by your house

Sure it's not deer pulling you out straight from your support? The snare would be pulled down tight to it's stop, but in a straight line down the trail. If it's pulled off it's support I'd say deer. If the snare is just fired off, but still on the support, I'd say fox jumping through the snare or coon stepping through. They can fit through almost any loop if they can see it.

I was gonna go nock on the door of the farm on Charlestown lane over there. Are you already on that piece..I wont bother if you are. We were infested with fox until earlier this summer. Now they're gone. Figured yotes had moved in. I need to set a new line, just not sure if I'm heading east again or finally to my southern line toward pittstown and kingwood. I wanna do alot over here on the wma starting January 1.

yeah pulled straight to the stopper but i have some that have been hit and pulled straight in tiny fox runs through hedgerows a deer could never fit through.. the farmer on charles town lane wont let me trap he thinks the yotes and foxes keep the deer away and it sucks cuz their infested over there beyond belief he let us do the special night yote season the other yr and it was unbelievable how many fox and coyotes are on tht piece.. and which wma do you set ur lines on?

gonna hit some of the tiny state pieces to our south this week and plan to set clinton/spruce run starting the opener on that which is January 1. Just gotta know how to avoid the domestic hunting dogs. But lots of fox and coyote there if you knpw where to look...and walk, walk walk!

helll yeah they love the pheasant.. ive seen some coyotes down off valley road state land thats a pretty good spot i might check out this yr.. another better pic of the coyote got with the gun
