Been tellin port for a few years now, better lucky than good!

Things have been nuts lately...seven more reds today and my first two beaver of the season both around 50 lb. Canine dispersal has got to be in full swing..I dont have that many snares out at this point, most have caught...I need a day or two to regroup and rebuild snares and location..

From the other day...bagged a few more since, but my best season to date...another couple weeks on the reds and then its time for water critters..beaver has started and ive gotten a few outta the way already.



My heaviest at 62 lb..should be another jumbo in this spot and the rest of the colony...County job that I need to take out the whole colony...pond scheduled to be drained.

Wow 62lbs I didn't know they got that big.

well, only another beaver or so till im limited out in two zones...did chisel another high 50 lb range one outta the ice yesterday in zone 20...........time for mink..until spring beaver in pa, lol!

pulled coyotes 9 and 10 last week, but both were so bad in condition that neither made the trip home...

have hit 120 canines though..still have a couple pieces of property that want the canines thinned, but id rather wait til next season...reds are looking pretty rough now. I'll take a few just to keep the landowners happy and hope for the best on the condition of them and bump those properties to the top of the list to start next season.

Every time I look that coyote next to the tree is cooler.I would put that in my living room.
