Post subject: NH Whitetail Racks

Hey all. With the exception of the 8pt I had mounted from my archery kill in 2008, this a picture of the NH deer I have killed. I have lived here since 1999 and did not hunt the 99 season because I was in the academy. Then I didn't hunt in 2003 and 2006 season as I was deployed with the Marine Corps both those years. The small rack up front is a 4pt I killed Dec 13, 2004 with the bow. I passed up better deer with the bow and rifle, but at the end of the season I wanted some meat.

You have consistently shot nice deer up there in N.H. Most of them have the kind of mass that we are all looking for, and there is no shame in the little four. We have all shot a deer like that, and there still isn't a good recipe for antlers. I'll bet he tasted better than the other eight.
