Well the Rackmaster and I are safely back in the frigid Northeast. We had a great time, and I already miss the sunny weather. Here is a quick summary of the trip: The first evening that we hunted Dive's wife shot a nice sow with the crossbow and the Rackmaster got the video FloridaTrip1-2013 00301.jpg [ 98.44 KiB | Viewed 19832 times ] That same evening Dive 2125 shot a Bobcat with his bow and I got the footage FloridaTrip1-2013 00401.jpg [ 88.88 KiB | Viewed 19832 times ] The next night was a bust, so Tuesday night we went bowfishing. The water was real muddy from the wind and the visibility was terrible, but we still had a great time. Here are some of the Alligator Gar we shot. alligator gar.jpg [ 101.51 KiB | Viewed 19832 times ] Wednesday night I got a shot at that big black boar from the trailcam pictures. Dive2125 videoed for me. PortandDive2125.jpg [ 87.21 KiB | Viewed 19832 times ] FloridaTrip1-2013 01201.jpg [ 100.13 KiB | Viewed 19832 times ] Thursday we chilled out and then Friday we drove up to Georgia to hunt with Ramcat Prostaffer Scott Lopez. Scott showed us a great time time, and it was the Rackmaster who was in the hot seat. He smashed this sow with his crossbow. Rackmastersow.jpg [ 99.2 KiB | Viewed 19832 times ] Scott is an animal. He moves like lightning, a real go-getter! ScottandRackmaster.jpg [ 83.41 KiB | Viewed 19832 times ] We had a great time. PortandRacksow.jpg [ 82.48 KiB | Viewed 19832 times ] |

Indeed a good time was had by all....Except the pigs. They , in fact, did NOT have a good time. The good news is they got to travel all the way back to NJ in a lovely ice bath. The Rackmaster is about to let you kids in on a secret....Gather round now, and hear my tale... If you look at picture #8 of this post ( the one with Port and I ) You will quickly come to the realization the Port is sporting a distinctly Asian look. That is no accident. It is a little known fact that when Port was a young boy , he was kidnapped by The shinobi proper, a specially trained group of spies and mercenaries who observed strict rules about honor and combat. Port was carted off to the Iga Province and the adjacent area around the village of Kōga, and it is from their ninja clans that much of his knowledge of the ninja is drawn. Once there, Port realized that he , in fact, was the CHOSEN ONE. Little, in fact, is known of this time since all the documentation was written in a hybrid mix of mandarin and sanskrit. Fortunately the Rackmaster is fluent in several languages and was able to decipher the following information: Port was trained by the Great Shaolin Warlord Oda Nobunaga and deftly worked his way to become a professional ninja. He is proficient in Tiger-crane , Black Iron Death Fist , and Stick String styles. He is also a 19th level Jing-chow ( translation: Coors light drinker ) He is the most interesting Port in the world. While the image of a ninja clad in black garb (shinobi shōzoku) is prevalent in popular media, there is no written evidence for such a costume.Instead, it was much more common for the ninja to be disguised as bowhunters. ( Refer to Picture # 8 ) Many people in society today have no idea the danger that lurks in the woods of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Every once in a while , when a picture is taken of him , you can see the ninja warrior creeping through. ( again, refer to picture # 8 ) It is indeed quite unmistakeable. Of course this is a total secret and is not to be revealed to anyone except Whitetailkillers members. And yes , he can shoot lightning bolts out his fingertips..Just like the Rackmaster. See ya next time on Tales from The Rackmaster. ( insert outro music here ) |
