well this is the 3rd year of taking my new York buddy bob out for the big opener.. we exchange hunts I take him deer hunting he takes me duck hunting.. this year though I had my duck guy up and also had my other friend from ny York arliss up as well. so had some work cut out for me.. opening morn I put them on their does so they got that out of the way so onto the buck spots.. I had a few bucks coming in like clock work so I put my main guy up by himself in a spot and I went with my first timer friend arliss to film the hunt.. so long story short arliss buck strolled in at 530 like clock work and he dropped him a nice 8 at 19 yards and i got it all on film.. bobs buck came in at 630 and he layed the smack down on a nice 8 point.. celebrated the kills that night they went out the next night each shooting another doe packed up all their meat and left the next morning.. Id say they got their moneys worth.. bobs first year buck was an 8 his second was a 9 now another 8.
