Dug up a few older pics from 05-08 'ish' Since I havent gotten out, it's all I got! Enjoy...some on the hoof were great deer. One I never tangled with we called Tank. You'll figure out who he was.. Sorry the photo sizes are all wacked out, but it's all I got! First in the little pic was 06 extended season, the next was 05 extended season and the last one was 07 extended taken with the bow during six-day. The on the hoof shots were during the rut in 08 I believe..

Couple more on the hoof from 08..I believe I actually have streaming video of this first one, but I'll be damned if I know how to post that...Now he was really one helluva deer...maybe better than all the other ones from that year. He was somethin. That deer I watched for three years. He disappeared later that year, but not from a hunter I think. My son was in the hospital that season and nearly passed. I had run out of time to take off from work, but they were letting me take my dinner break up at the hospital each night. So every morning around 430 ish I would head up to the hospital..and Every night, that Son of a bitch was there waiting for me I swear..I'd give him a nod and be on my way... |

Thanks for the resizing...AGAIN port...sorry. And yes, elusive is about right..I've only had off a couple nights since the 11th so getting out just aint been possible... Yes Hoyt all local. The 5x5 I never had officially scored but He should be about 130 and from Southern Hunterdon. The 6x4 is in the same ballpark probly 125ish gross but pretty impressive to look at..from Eastern Hunterdon...the on the hoof deer are all from Morris or SOmerset...mostly Morris. |
