Took this trip with my buddy Dana in 2008.Trip started with a 18 mile Argo ride from hell after a 2 hour drive on dirt roads.The trip was well worth it.On the 1st day of the hunt my buddy Dana got hurt when he got triped up in the many deadfall trees.He shot on the 2nd day and hit a nice one. The guide and Dana trailed the blood trail while I waited by the Argo and was told to keep alert.Not long after I saw a nice Moose heading thru the timber.I lowered the 300 ultra mag an touched one off.The Moose hit the ground on impact.We later found out that this was the same Moose Dana hit.I knew Dana was hurt and couldnt hunt for the remaining 8 days so I told him to tag it. I hunted hard for the next 8 days and took a small bull on the last day.My friendship with Dana has been priceless.I know he would do the same for me...
