This isn't a great picture, but it is the only one I got. It isn't a dog, a deer, a bear, or a coyote, so it's a hog. Right?

I can't tell if it's a boar or a sow from that angle but yes my friend, that is a hog. If I were you I'd shoot that sucker asap especially if it keeps coming around. Hogs equal massive vegitation devistation.

I spoke to a friend today who knew where my hog probably came from. The story is that a farmer, about five miles east from here, was raising these Russian Boars. I would assume to sell them to hunting preserves, but who knows. Anyway, thirty something hogs got loose at some point last year. My buddy says they shot about twenty, but the rest didn't stick around waiting to become bacon. He also said they shot one up around Eagle's Point, that is maybe five miles south of here. So, my hog is not as far from home as I thought. I haven't seen one, except for the picture, but if he hangs around he'll get dead.

Move over Sizzlean, I'm bringing bacon back.

You are correct! I spoke to Larry this moring and told him about your hog. He said a hole pen of wild hogs got out for a shooting preserve. They have been running free for the last year. Open game if you see one and they want them shot!!! Yummie bacon and ham. :D
